มรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้กำลังปานกลางที่พัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทยเริ่มมีกำลังแรงขึ้น ประกอบกับมีหย่อมความกดอากาศต่ำปกคลุมบริเวณชายฝั่งประเทศเวียดนามตอนล่าง ลักษณะเช่นนี้ทำให้ประเทศไทยมีฝนฟ้าคะนองกับมีลมกระโชกแรงเกิดขึ้นได้บางพื้นที่ แต่ยังคงมีอากาศร้อนในตอนกลางวัน และมีอากาศร้อนจัดบางแห่งในภาคเหนือ โดยมีฝนตกหนักบางพื้นที่ในภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ ภาคตะวันออก และภาคใต้ฝั่งตะวันตก
สำหรับคลื่นลมบริเวณทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทยเริ่มมีกำลังแรงขึ้น ทะเลอันดามันมีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 2 เมตร ส่วนบริเวณอ่าวไทยทะเลมีคลื่นสูง 1–2 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร

The strengthening southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea and the Gulf while the low-pressure cell covers the coast of southern Vietnam. These lead to thundershowers with gusty winds and day hot over the country. The North will have very hot condition in some places wheil isolated heavy rains are forecast for the Northeast, the East and the South (west coast) regions.
In the Andaman Sea and the Gulf, the wind becomes stronger. It forces the waves about 2 meters high in the Andaman Sea and in thundershowers more than 2 meters high. In the Gulf, the stronger wind forces the waves 1-2 meters high and in thundershowers more than 2 meters high.
